If you, like me, have a family connection and decades of memories associated with lake living, you also understand the magic of being near, in, and on the water, of the way light dances on the surface while watching a vivid sunset. This piece was created with layers of complementary colors. The simple use of water poured over them revealed the colors beneath. Composed of 100% postconsumer paper and paint, the art was made by mixing paper pulp with paint and then pouring it. Highly textured and sealed, it can be experienced by touch.
